    > What is GPS?
        The Global Positioning System is a worldwide navigation platform consisting of 24 orbiting satellites that form a communications blanket over the earth. The U.S. Department of Defense developed and implemented this satellite network to support the military in calculating an accurate global position. This technology is now widely accessible to the public and allows virtually anybody to pinpoint their location via GPS receiving devices.
         
    > What is StreetEagle®GPS and how does it work?
       
StreetEagleGPS is a security system that uses advanced telemetry in correspondence with GPS and cellular communications to provide you, the vehicle owner, with automatic 24/7 security surveillance. The system acquires a GPS positioning fix once a second, analyzes GPS data, and then sends the data to our servers via cellular communications. In turn, the client-side web application accesses our servers and finalizes the communications gateway between your computer and the StreetEagle Security System in your car.
         
    > Who could benefit from a StreetEagle®GPS System?
       
StreetEagleGPS platforms a variety of technologies that can benefit all types of customers. Many customers choose StreetEagle Security for their personal vehicle and stay protected using features such as the Vehicle Security Alert and Vehicle Immobilization. We also encounter many customers who are parents of an inexperienced teenage driver and want to ensure their child's safety and responsibility on the road. A parent typically uses the Vehicle Speeding Alert, Geofence Alert, and Remote Door Unlock to achieve this. No matter the type of customer, StreetEagle platforms technologies that can benefit any vehicle owner.
         
    > How long does it take to install a StreetEagle®GPS Unit?
       
Installation typically takes between 45 minutes to an hour when done professionally, depending on the purchased feature set and vehicle type.
         
    > Is the GPS unit visible to the driver? Can it be tampered with?
       
A professional installation will ensure that the StreetEagleGPS System to be completely out of sight and touch from the driver and passengers in the vehicle. As a GPS vehicle security system, it is the responsibility of the installer to make the unit undetectable and in turn, tamperproof.
         
    > Can I install the GPS unit myself?
       
Although it is not recommended, you can install a StreetEagleGPS system yourself if you are experienced with 12-volt installations and choose to purchase a more basic service package. You will need to go to a professional installer for advanced tracking features such as the Vehicle Security Alert, Remote Door Unlock, and Vehicle Immobilization.
         
    > Who has access to my vehicles' secure information?
       
When you purchase a StreetEagleGPS unit and sign up for service, you will be prompted to create a StreetEagleWEB Login. This login grants you access to your personal account on the StreetEagleWEB interface which displays your vehicles' complete activity and information. Whoever you may decide to share your information with via your login is entirely your decision.
         
    > Can StreetEagleGPS be used by commercial businesses?
       
Though StreetEagleGPS is a consumer product line, it can also be used by businesses with fleets of 3 or less who are looking for a basic tracking solution. Our commercial StreetEagle product line is built for businesses looking to cut operating costs, improve employee time efficiency, and increase overall profitability. StreetEagle for commercial businesses provides an extensive set of business intelligence utilities that are not available with the StreetEagleGPS consumer product line.
